My name is Shirletta Allen.  I have (3) sons and (3) lovely grand daughters.   I grew up in a small town called Fairfax, SC until I moved to  Hawaii for nearly (4) years.   While living in Hawaii, I worked at the Military Exchange helping Veterans select uniforms, ribbons, shoes, etc.  After leaving Hawaii, I moved back to South Carolina and began working at the Medical University of South Carolina until Hugo hit in 1989.  Then, I became a Disaster Assistance employee helping victims get their lives back together.  

 

I’ve spent time volunteering at the Homeless Shelter in Charleston, SC and delivering meals on wheels. I’ve always had a passion to help people in need. My youngest son once told me, “You care too much” and I said to myself, "You’re probably right but I can’t help it.  That’s just the way I am."

 

I was sitting down watching T.V. one day when a commercial came on about homeless animals; one of the dogs looked so sad it almost made me cry & that urge to help again came into play.   

 

What I hope to accomplish on this site is to find loving, caring, nurturing individuals that feel the way that I do about animals.  We want to establish relationships with our pets and pet owners so they are comfortable leaving their babies with us and can't wait to come back!   For that reason, our vendors offer a "beyond excellent" service to your pets! After all, animals are extensions to our family and they deserve the same care you would give to your family members.
